The restaurant was welcoming and the servers attentive. I watched a server relay a table for 4. The care they devoted to placing the settings was lovely to watch, and I feel the same level of care extends to the restaurant as a whole. ”
“ Best dining experience I've ever had. Nischal kindly accommodated me for a late notice booking, and greeted me as soon as I came in the door. When I asked to use the bathroom I was even led there to make sure I didn't get lost. When taking orders, the waiters showed enough attention and care to make sure we chose the dishes that best suited us, and even went to ask the chef to make the dish in a specific way to our liking. The lamb starter was soft and flavourful, my friend even said he could have had 20 of them and I felt the same way! Waiters made sure we had enough drinks throughout the evening and the mains were excellent - all unique and exquisite flavours, including the most tender tandoori chicken pieces I've ever had and probably ever will have! The dessert was the perfect palate cleanser (creme brule and passion fruit sorbet), and finished off with a nice chai and green tea. After we paid the bill we had the pleasure to meet the chef DK, who was trained in a Michelin star luxury hotel in the middle east - no wonder the food was incredible! Overall, a world class dining experience from start to finish that won't be beaten for a long time. The owner Bish has done a great job to bring such brilliant cuisine to Haslemere. ”

“ Exceptional meal and a really outstanding experience! If you have ever been to one of the Dishoom restaurants, expect similar style food but better (which is high praise!) The service was on point, waitress was friendly, knew the menu well and answered all queries well, really well trained and great throughout the whole meal. Main course and sides were all very tasty and flavoursome and quite different to your normal standard Indian restaurant. The deserts though, were really impressive! We had a large group of us and had one of each of the different deserts, which they were all amazing. The favours the attention to detail really showed how much thought and effort has been put into them (and everything on the menu for that point). The cost is more than your standard Indian restaurant, but it is completely different type of food and quality than you usually get and isn't really comparable. For what you get, the quality of the food, the really good service and very high overall experience, it is more than worth every penny! Can only hope the other Indian restaurant, gets some of the dishes and amazing touches and great service that Dilli has too ”
